The garden is a hidden gem, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring Bourges. The breakfast spread was top-notch, showcasing a range of delicious local treats. The location makes it a breeze to pop into the old town for authentic French cuisine at nearby spots like Le Marmiton Berrichon and Les 3 P'tits Cochons.
Unfortunately, during my solo stay, many restaurants were closed, limiting options. The hotel’s own restaurant wasn't open either, which felt like a missed opportunity.

Our stay was highlighted by the lovely garden and the friendly staff who made us feel welcome. The breakfast buffet was exceptional, featuring local treats and ample options.
Unfortunately, the air conditioning in our room didn’t cool down as expected, making for a rather warm night. the restaurant menu was somewhat limited during our visit.

The hotel is beautifully decorated, with a lovely outdoor seating area perfect for enjoying morning coffee or evening drinks. Having private parking right outside was a major plus, and the amazing smell of the shower gel really stood out! While the bedroom was a bit compact, it was comfy and clean, and just a nice quick walk away from the historical sites in the old town, including the stunning Cathedral. I did run into some issues with the lift access, which wasn’t very convenient after a long day exploring.

The breakfast buffet is a standout. I've never seen such a spread with charcuterie and gourmet cheeses. The garden provides a surprise retreat, making it a nice spot to unwind after a hectic day.
The room size can be unexpectedly small, which might feel crowded for those used to more space, especially considering the price. Accessing some rooms requires multiple lifts and can be cumbersome, particularly with luggage or for those with mobility concerns. There were also some noisy moments during the day that disturbs the tranquility, but it quiets down at night. Lastly, being turned away from the restaurant due to full capacity was a letdown.

A beautiful building with local charm, featuring a cozy lobby and a stunning dining area for breakfast. The breakfast had a large selection with excellent coffee, adding to the overall experience. While the room was quite nicely finished, it could have benefited from a bit more space for relaxation beyond the bed.
